.......... was expecting a few screaming fits. A few flaying arms waved about. Especially from hot heads highly strung people like Gally. But quite calm really. I suppose it’s because we have been getting used to the idea for a while now. It may be that there is now a real relief from just not knowing what’s going to happen. That stress has gone now. But the week leading up to it has been highly pressurised - gnawing away like a rabid beaver.
I’m kind of looking forward to it to be honest. Staying in the championship would’ve inevitably led to more speculative loan deals and 6-12 month contracts with 30+ year olds. This is a really great chance to regroup ourselves and create a proper first XI next season; one that can challenge for the title and then push on from there. I’m not convinced we would’ve done anything more than tread water and enter another relegation battle next season in the championship, so I’m optimistic as to what 18-19 holds.
It's easier to take when you just plainly don't deserve it as you have rolled over too easy, say we had gone down under Flicker that would have been hard as we were fighting tooth and nail and had so much spirit
Why the pathetic, ill-informed jibe at Gally? The person, I should add, whose efforts and more importantly money, gives people like you a platform for their idiocy. Given your track record, I'd suggest you edit that post. Or are you looking for a relegation as well? Utter cap-end.
