Playing McBurnie on the left wing finally produced a goal today

    As Moore raced down the left wing, he looked up to cross to someone in the box, but there wasn't anyone there, because our only central forward is Moore, and Moore was on the ball on the left wing. Our other centre forward plays left wing and was behind Moore on the left wing, so with no other options Moore just cracked it in to the top corner. Had McBurnie been playing centrally, instead of on the left wing, Moore would have attempted to cross it to McBurnie, and we probably wouldn't have scored. So on this occasion playing McBurnie on the left wing produced a goal.

    (Yes, I know, Moore was actually trying to cross it to Mahoney, but I've left him out of the whole scenario for comic effect)
