Remember the laudable attempts on takeover day or thereabouts to encourage fans to turn up an hour earlier to enjoy a new experience in pre-match entertainment............ what happened there? I only arrive near to kick off due to travelling 50 miles but for you locals, what has changed that would make me want to set off sooner to soak up the new atmosphere?
I'm in the same boat. I travel 70 mile to home games so wouldn't make a difference to me as I'd prefer to go into town but nothing has changed.
I heard you get a free blowjob if you turn up to the Brentford home game 30 minutes before kick off. You heard anything about this?
Change of plan. After careful consideration, they've decided to focus on post-match entertainment instead, to cater for people on their way out of the ground. An analysis of recent foot traffic suggests 16:05 is the optimum start time.
They've also sorted the PA system in the Ponty End. It's been crap for 10 years but they sorted it within months of taking over. From little acorns etc...
Are you into the South East Asian look? I had you down as more of a Chardonnay from Kexborough kind of guy.
Whatever happened to the east stand revamp and paint job that was promised last year? When the friendlies were played and it still hadn't been done we were told that it was just delayed by a few weeks. That was 9 months ago
Deep breath...count to ten. How about we start to make judgements after the close season? When we've had a transfer window that isn't driven by short termism. When we've had two months to do development work on the ground. Etc. That said if a definite vision and ambition for the club both on and off the pitch isn't apparent next season I'll be as disappointed as anyone else.
Fair point. The situation we are in now is not of the new owners making. Their intentions should be clear by the end of August.
Think they meant when everybody is slumped in their seat wondering if this is the week we get relegated!
They could start by expanding the bar facilities at the ground and actually make that Redfearn bar or whatever seem like a friendly place to visit before the game.
i think the match day exp starts at 3pm ....its like watching a gang of clowns some times a farse some times if it wasn't so serious it would be funny if it was happening down the road at swfc id be laughing my head off
They’re bringing in thought crossbar challenge where everyone in the stadium closes their eyes and thinks of hitting g the crossbar with three shots . Whoever gets three the fastest wins a signed SAM Winnall shirt . Ive only hit it once in my practice runs but come next season I’ll be match ready.
