I would show the clip of their second goal today and have it as our digital epitaph.

Lindsay didn't cover himself in glory, that's for sure.

At that point in the game, I slumped back in my seat and said "we're just not good enough". All around me agreed.

If we stay up, what about the following epitaph?

"Just no leadership. From the boardroom, the management team or the pitch. We have rolled over and died, and I would never expect to see that from Barnsley FC. Where's our soul gone?"

    Who said that today?

More than me said it. Great win but let's not kid ourselves just yet eh?

1 point to @tobyornottoby in the point scoring stakes though

Yeah, it was a bad spell. We couldn't keep the ball and were making silly mistakes. Must say though, I thought we looked dangerous every time we went forward, if a bit wasteful.

Amazing what a lift a win gives you, especially with other results going our way.

Scoring 3 goals is a massive confidence booster for me too.

We looked knackered. The substitutes gave us more energy than I expected to be honest.

For me it was fitness. We looked OK first half but two minutes into the second half and Isgrove was done. Whether it was an injury or he'd just completely run out of steam I don't know, but we were basically down to ten men. The substitution came 10 minutes too late. 5 minutes into the second half and Moncur, who had again played well first half, had gone too and we were just overrun. Potts, McBurnie and Moore lasted the 90 minutes, but for much of it they were running on empty. It was heart and desire that got them through, and that was very impressive, but they were so knackered and had been for all the second period.

Formation doesn't help. Not sure how McBurnie and Isgrove are expected to be up alongside Moore for his flick-ons and knock downs and help cover the full back. They can't, it's impossible, and our full backs are so exposed. Hammill's introduction stopped their raids down the flanks, he created a goal, and the change of formation meant we had two strikers in the box for Moore to cross for Bradshaw. I wouldn't say Hammill played all that well, but just having players in proper positions on the pitch, allowing for both attack and defence, gave us a chance to win the game and we took it.
