Its unlikely but can be done , win our game in hand & beat Bolton & we would go above them ( in theory )

Sorry but I do not see us rallying enough to recover now... I am resigned to us being relegated .

    The main talking point is...

How do we fit both Mcburnie and Moore into the same line up as strikers and not playing Mcburnie as a winger which for me personally is a waste and you can see it in him he doesn't like playing there..

    4-4-2 ? 3-5-2 ?

Happy if it happens but I can’t see it. The only game I can see us winning is Bolton with draws against weeds and the Blunts.

To me its starting to look Done and Dusted the bottom 3 are the sides that will probably drop. Looks like Birmingham have got the new manager bounce and won 3 in a row - one more should do it for them I think - unless we can hit a run like they just have we are doomed I am afraid - of course if we can win one we may go on a run. I think we will need closer to 45 points for safety now

It doesn’t matter as we still don’t have two who can play together effectively in central midfield

Who do you bring on for George when he’s run out of steam after 50 mins after his customary 15-20 of effectiveness?

I'd start with Potts. Moncur to come off the bench after 70 minutes or so.

Think Reading will drop further down.its up to us to put points on the table.players up for it .
Wrangles me though should have gained 3 points against Bristol.
Players can now come up to the mark and do similar to the Bristol game.

I must say, as much as i'd love to be wrong... I think that's it. We've wasted gilt edged opportunities to build a gap or pull away. Only in the last few months we failed to beat a dreadful Wednesday team, failed to hold onto a lead at Hull, lost to Burton, failed to beat Norwich and Bristol at home, not to mention all the other 20 odd games before it when we haven't gained maximum points.

I'm not sure we have 5 points left in us. And it's unlikely Reading, Bolton and Brum will fail to pick up any more points.

We've been saying must win for over a month. The blunts is an absolute must win, if we don't close that gap Saturday, i can see the last vestiges of hope leaving even the most optimistic.

I have given up, really hope I am wrong but I now believe it's over. 2 wins in 24 tells it's own story. I can't see us pulling 3 out of 7 which is what I think it would take from here.

Doesn't matter what others do - we can't buy a win. Of the seven we have won, five of those have come against sides looking League One-bound (Sunderland twice, Burton, Birmingham twice pre-Monk). We cashed in a good side in January and July last year. We were late appointing a CEO, and recruited at too poor a level and too late. We thus hacked off a perfectly good manager/head coach who very understandably jumped on a lifeboat come January this year. We are thoroughly deserving of the pending relegation and the club will lose customers through it. The indication from the new owners are that further investment will be commensurate with income, so that may limit what is done to break the current downward trend unless they change their mind and put the accent a little more in investing in the team for the future.
