    We should have tried to sign him in the summer Davies wouldn't have been a spectator all season and townsend would be on bench at Shaw lane.

    I hope he does play, I was a big Steele fan but Frankie fielding is better and I’m hoping we’re going to get crosses in the box, never Luke’s forte the high ball.

    I’d drive him back up north myself if we had a sniff though, he was a great servant to us

    We could have done with him starting as he's a right flapper and he's always got a couple of clangers in him. Massively overrated by our fans aswell.

    He's a nice bloke, he did alot for the community too but he was a poor keeper.
