    I drove a group there in the “PSI Minibus”. Hired it for the weekend many times while stationed at RAF Upavon to take mostly WRAFs home to Yorkshire and back Sunday nights.

    The little excursion to Chester was an extra treat on the Saturday. It was an old Sherpa vehicle but covered the 600 miles or so that weekend very well.

    That kit, the excitement of being a Barnsley fan at that time - personally had only seen us in 4th div, so to get promoted again to 2nd div was magical. It's ******* w@nk now. Similar feelings when we got to the Prem, plus Andy Ritchie's promotion side, and the play-off team of 2016. Ruined by poor off field management.

    Gives you goosebumps thinking what our midfield would be like now with those two in it. Ronnie Glavin for the flair and the goals and Alan Little taking no prisoners
