We were the in form club in England. We're now The out of form club in England. With crapper players. At a higher level.
Our last 6 home matches before the playoffs that season were: Won 2 Drew 2 Lost 2 That made us the form club in England?
there's not room for sentiment in football, and there's no room for wingers in 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, good - we're not good enough for the luxury of wide players who don't effect the game for long periods.
Think it’s you that’s clueless tbh . The point Jose made in the presser . “ if you keep doing the same things it’s likely you’ll get the same outcome” or words to that effect . He’s the coach and hopefully he’ll be able to keep us up but if not it’s not his fault . Can’t sell all your better players and replace em with poor imitations and hope to compete . Jose’s got a free pass for me but whichever league we’re in next year it’s going to be huge for the whole club !!!
You used the words "in form". We won 11 of our last 19 games - Scunthorpe won 12 of their last 19 games Scunthorpe won all their last 6 home games - We won 3. Scunthorpe won all their last 6 games - We won 4. In the league Scunthorpe's last 10 matches - 23 points. In the league our last 10 matches -19 points So it's fair to say we weren't the "in form" team in England, or even within a 35 mile radius in our own division.
Adam Hammill - 30 games, 2157 minutes, 0 goals, 0 assists Lloyd Isgrove - 10 games, 542 minutes, 1 goal, 1 assist ...yeah we're ****** then
I think Hammill's time has now been and gone and I wouldn't be sad to see him leave. I thought he did alright first half vs Burton and was surprised to see him come off. Isgrove was awful though and deserved to be replaced. But I'd say Isgrove has more to offer if he can be fitted into JM's system. As I left the ground on Tuesday someone said JM had finished the game with the system he wants to go forward with and if true that's those two redundant.
Errrrr..........could it be ......drum roll......surprise surprise......Scunthorpe!!!! (this is, in mileage terms, according to the "as the crow flies" site.)
It would be tempting to suggest that you are at least some sort of tit, but that would be a cheep joke.
Crows and tits are both passerine birds but crows are in the corvidae family while tits are in the paridae family. Is there a sociopath bird?
I'm still trying to work out the difference between a cormorant and a shag. Apparently, bearing in mind my age, one of them is quite rare.
