Why do clubs have "bogey" grounds?

    Why do clubs have "bogey" grounds? I just don't understand it. Before today, we had lost the last 10 at Loftus Road(plus the draws), so the way we churn through players and managers, thats 10 different line ups have lost to a team that have more often that not been average(or worst). What causes it?

    It says everything that even during the club's most amazing, historic & unforgettable season, we somehow managed to lose there twice, in the space of a couple of weeks.
