    Just how much do they get from Sky per televised match 'cos it must be clear money in the bank for them. Can't see many of the Leeds morons staying away just because it's on tv so they're not going to lose much gate money.

    Yep viewing figures

    Leeds fans hate it because fixtures constantly moved all my in laws are leeds season ticket holders and have to cancel hotels etc. In fairness it’s really annoying for them

    On the Leeds subject. I have had a new boiler fitted today, in fact they have just left. However every time his phone rang the ring tone was the "LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS" song.
    Imagine a day of that. :) I never brought the subject of football up as I wanted a good job doing.
    As it happens they did a great job. (No J S jibes) :)

    Because it's all about selling.
    Leeds have supporters all over the country and the world, the vast majority who will never get to attend a league match so commercially this makes sense.
    It's not about where you are in the table.

    Nothing to do with a dislike of leeds.

    17 times they have been on already. Another 4 just announced. And we are only in january

    Don't know how much you get for being on TV but Leeds are going to get it at least 21 times more than us.

    You could well be right , but I think if we are on TV it can reduce your crowd size , fans are also inconvenienced with kick off times & from a selfish point of view , we are not on a good run lately when we are on the box , the Villa & Leeds performances were shocking & would not encourage any armchair fan to pop down to Oakwell

    I thought everybody got an equal payment no matter how many times you are on because wasn’t Cellino on about boycotting Sky matches and telling them to shove it because they had most of their season rearranged for Sky and got the same financially as us and Burton who were “lucky” to be on more than twice and usually one of those was a Leeds game too.
