Please support if you get the chance

I’m vaguely considering trying to set one up though I have no idea how to go about it and I’m relatively lazy. Anyone fancy looking into it with me?

Its that time of year when we should be thinking about those less fortunate than ourselves, but enough about Donny Rovers fans.

Food banks are easy to set up I set one up with work to St George's Crypt in Leeds last year, very helpful and gave all the information needed. Really good thing to do especially in this weather.

There’s a St George’s Crypt one in Kirkstall Morrisons, I did my ‘£5 Festive Foodbank’ there.

I volunteer in one regularly I know the basic idea it’s more the football fan side of things and linking it up I’m less clear about. I might have a World wit( the Everton lads who kicked off the idea.

Can we look into setting up a Barnsley Fans Playerbank. If any clubs out there want to send us their old, slightly stale or past their sell-by date players or their fresh raw meat for repackaging, all contributions would be welcome. If not quite usable, we promise to pass them on to a more deserving struggling club at no profit.

The tweet is from 24 November, so I think Jimmy is just a bit late to pass on the message.

while we were renewing our season tickets at cas tigers the club and players announced that a collection would be taking place for food stuffs for two local foodbanks..So supporters were asked to contribute when going to pick up their tickets, the support was overwhelming.

It’s ongoing as far as I understand from their twitter feed. The Everton fans one has been running for a couple of years.

on 27th jan theres a friendly at home to the rhinos, then season starts in feb...if you and your lass ever fancy a game you are more than welcome to come with me and our lass..women soon become hooked on rugby league especially after they've watched blokes behave like real blokes for 80 mins lol.

it would be a good thing for some of bfc's hierarchy to attend cas and try and get some ideas on how to make oakwell more than a 90 minute day out,I had talked kev beckett into coming to a game and was hoping to take him to one of the super 8's matches in august but kev died while we were at catalan in july,I honestly think theres some ideas to be nicked from wheldon road.
