Wrong. He can only work with what he's got, he's done marvellous so far. The real problem is lack of strength in depth. One dimensional strikers, we need a big ugly fecker, Bradshaw is getting no change out these big centre halves. Adam Davies has had an easy ride so far, where's his competition?
The spreadsheet is missing one measurement, the player's heart and on the evidence of today a lot of them have pea sized hearts.
Sick of explaining it. Players are identified by a system of statistical analysis. Hecky has the “final say”. The problem is no one know what the final choice is between.
He is recommended players and has the final say. They are not his choice.sometimes anybody will be better than nobody.
The o.p is right though, it IS an abysmal defensive negative formation and we're wasting our striker Bradshaw in that role because it doesnt suit him. Some fans were asking on here this week if Mamadou Thiam is the new Regis/Odejayi etc, well how can we really judge when he gets 5 late minutes if that, and the odd time he gets to start its in the idiotic 1 up front nightmare role.
I don't think i could be more insulted!!! I am certainly not a happy clapper, particularily of this board! As already explained, the spreadsheet chooses the players, of which have to meety a certain criteria, with age being the main one, our scouting team then puts forward the "best" of those to Hecky and the board to then go and sign. Believe it or not, some of the players we brought in won't have been the first or even second choice either. This is what Hecky is dealing with.
