    Hecky said this morning that he has kept in touch with Fletcher since he left and said it will be good to see him and thinks he will be a big success at boro.
    I remember last season after we played Wednesday and he was asked if he had kept in touch with Sam winnall since he left oakwell it was a straight "no" then they asked has he text you after scoring and words were exchanged at full time and again "no" and that was that.

    From what I can gather from the interview. We were in contact with Fletcher because we wanted to sign him on loan and he wanted to come.

    Fletcher than called and said Boro had bid for him and Hecky said get yourself off

    Testament to hecky that Ashley Fletcher valued his opinion on the matter. Seems like a decent lad Fletcher and he sent us on our way v millwall.
