Anyone been to one of those Turkish barbers opposite post office on Pitt street? Recommend one? Both? Any different from a standard barber? Cheers

Been to both. It's handy that they're open Saturday afternoon and Sunday, unlike most barbers, plus is opposite Chennels which would be quite useful for a post hair do pint if... They didn't insist on squaring your entire head off with a cut throat razor and send you our looking like a Lego man. And also, incidentally, this is a fact before the racist brigade fire up, I don't believe the Turks are very friendly with deodorant.

I've seen this cut throat thing before I think it must be their thing, even a lego head can't be as bad as the 'thing' on my head currently.

I've also heard they burn hair away aswell? Might give them a try just out of curiosity if nothing else

They shave the back of your neck with a cut throat and rub some kind of post shave balm in to it.They also burn your nasal and ear hair off, thats the difference .Old Fred on Donny Road never did that.

There's a Turkish barbers on Wombwell High St that I tried other month. I don't believe any of them speak English, they just have a load of posters on the wall with suggested hair do's and you have to point to the one you want. I walked out looking like The Fonz when my usual look is more Fred West.
I won't be going back. I like looking like a mass murderer.
