Not seen enough of Payne to make a proper judgement, not impressed me on the bits I've seen but I don't think I've even seen him start a competitive game. I don't think Hecky rates him though, it says him all that Hecky preferred to change formation & loan Payne out rather than continue to play 4-4-2 from January onwards. I don't see much in Bradshaw at this level, he's a decent finisher but he seems to lack the pace & movement to get in good positions. It's a shame as he seems a nice lad & he works hard but I'm struggling to see him do well at this level. We need 2 more strikers which we all know & Hecky seems to as well. Barely seen Brown play, did ok off the bench against Huddersfield but I was told he looked out of his depth at Grimsby so it's wait & see with him for me
He's part of the first team so must not be showing it in training. Hecky isn't scared to play/drop players who do/don't perform in training so I can only assume that he hasn't seen much yet.
Hecky is seeing these players day in day out in training you aren't. I was more concerned about him playing a player who had signed 24 hours previous and a center midfielder with no pace on the wing last Saturday I thought he had lost plot. And my mate who is a leeds fan couldn't belive he had played mowatt on wing.
Not being pedantic but there was a thread about tonight's starters. Why the need to start another? Would your reply have been lost at the end of a 50 post thread? Just wondered.
Bradshaw.. in my humble opinion, with the right service and a bit of confidence will do a good job for us.
