    My best friend has gone into hospital this morning for a hip replacement. He is without any doubt the friendliest, kindest, gentlest, most compassionate man I know. Also, he's determined to be back at Oakwell as soon as possible, as well as continuing to work as a first responder.
    Good luck, Ian and stop chatting the nurses up!

    All the best Ian, hope it goes well.

    My grandmother is having open heart surgery right now, a valve replacement, and so I'm sitting very nervously having not slept.

    I have every faith in the heart team at Sheffield Northern General though, very professional.
