Vs Derbyshire Game reduced to a 10 over thrash. Chased down Derbyshire's 108 without any concerns. Will Fraine walloping an unbeaten 69 not out.
Looking good to qualify for the next stage. As unlikely as it is we are still on for the treble despite how many are missing as usual.
Josh Sullivan played his 2nd ever professional game and took 4-11. Renowned young leg spinner with a bright future ahead.
Would these young kids have had the chance to play at this level if The Hundred wasn't in play? I guess there is a lot of criticism for how the new forms are being added with no change to the existing structure to make way. This is a positive that more younger players get to test their skills at the top level. However i do think the English game needs reform if they are to keep now 4 major competitions running.
Just read in the Yorkshire post that Sullivan took 3 wickets with his first 4 deliveries in the match. Not bad for your second ever game
