Are any of you good folk partaking in the Yorkshire three peaks tomorrow ? i am and got to say excited and dreading it in equal amounts.
I'm not, but half wished I'd seen it in time to put my name down - although it wouldn't go down well with the family with all the international commuting I'm doing at present! Good luck and hope the weather is better than today!
Rember it is a long way but you should have enough daylight hours to complete it. Did it three weeks ago and it was warm and no breeze. Useful advice given to me that i will pass on is take plenty of water and walk at a sensible pace. You will be up PYG in under an hour and a half but dont let that trick you as its a long walk to Wernside. If tired stop and refuel but dont hang about too long on the trigg points. But do enjoy it.
Thanks i did it last year but i'm not sure my fitness level is what it was last year, hopefully my shoes this time are more comfortable
