Worst season ever?

    Gerry Stewart was my favourite Barnsley goalkeeper, until we signed Heinz Muller.

    Thanks mate. Serves me right for not checking. Still seem to remember our keeper being injured so will do some digging.

    K. Barker would have been Keith Barker. Though I’d better check that :)

    During the 1969/70 season, when we were going for promotion, we beat Bradford City 3-2 with Pat Howard scoring a last minute winner. Unfortunately, Brian Arblaster was injured during the match. He didn't play again that campaign. His replacement was Brian Sherratt, who was appalling. Needless to say, after looking a good bet for promotion, we ended the season 10th (I think!).
