Just been reading some of their forums. Something they seem to be worried about is fitness, which makes me quietly optimistic. One of our biggest strengths across the team is fitness, and it'd be great if we were able to take advantage in the second half. COYR
Nice tight ship in the first half. Maybe nick a goal. Not to worry if not. Then after an hour go at them hell for leather and see how much they can take.
In that case, I'd be keeping Armstrong on the bench to make the same impact as Saturday. Sent from my phone using my hands
They come from Wolverhampton; most of the country needs a translator to understand them; they live on black pudding; and their football club plays in a stadium which sounds like a cheap variety of food-blender? I'd be concerned, too.
Yep. Marley (and Ryan ?) to run them ragged and tire them out, then Armstrong to come on like a Matador and put them to the sword.
Definitely seems there was some truth to it. Great that we have such a physically fit set of lads, and the depth now is incredible
We were dead on our feets after 65 minutes or so. Wolves had a ten minute spell where we were chasing shadows a little and too many midfielders had run consecutive 40 yard sprints to win the ball. Our passes were wayward, our control was being lost, and it didn't look good at all. Then we made the subs which allowed a breather. Stopped giving the ball away. And they foolishly took their time with some set pieces. We got our second wind and absolutely demolished them. Hecky got it spot on tonight and must be credited with the starting line up and the substitutions and when he made them. Genius
Got to feel sorry for them, just lost 4-0 at home to #thelikesofbarnsley and next up is Newcastle away. Bloke on their forum is saying its now doubly important they get a result there! Really?
