    They should be concentrating on sorting COVID, to be fair.

    Problem is there are a good proportion of their fans that don’t know anything but irresponsible ownership and would welcome it again with open arms.

    Now they’ve had the premier league seasons and the FA cup win many think that’s their level and will want to get there again as soon as possible, by any means possible.

    When you welcome the kind of investment that’s required to take a club with a 1800 average gate to the prem, building a new stadium along the way you kind of sell the soul of the club and leave yourself open to all kinds of future abuse.

    I think Bournemouth are hanging on to the hope that their owner doesn’t get fed up and look to offload. They have no growth in fanbase or bigger stadium to show for their time in the prem, and every season they don’t get back up will become more difficult. I can’t see how he had added value to the club to make it investible.
