It's to be hoped we don't plummet in the coming seasons. League 1 is becoming a graveyard for medium sized clubs. Sheff Wed, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Blackpool, Charlton, Sunderland. It's slowly becoming a Championship 1 and 1/3.

We'd have to have our own Frank Brebin in Charge.

So basically, they are not for sale. Oldest trick in the book. Massively(pun intended!) over-value the asset so nobody will touch it, and if some idiot does come along and match the valuation then laugh all the way to the bank!

If they go into admin it happens straight away as in Wigan's case. If they leave it too late then get relegated then the leeds case would fall into place. If wendy had gone into admin say February. tbh I'm not sure.

There is a cut off date - I cant remember exactly when it is - fairly sure if you go into Admin in September its just applied straight away and if you go down anyway there is no carry over. if its towards the end of the season then the penalty is carried over if its not going to have any real effect this season

Wigan went into Admin on the 1st July last year. If they'd been relegated without the points deduction. That penalty would have applied this season. That's why the deduction wasn't applied until after the last game.

Thats true but had they gone into Admin on 1st September the points deduction would just have been applied - if they had saved themselves that would have been it. I am sure there is a cut off date where going into admin penatly is deffered until its clear what effect it has but I dont remember the date

Not sure even the Dogefather would fancy a crack at Wednesday

Although him and Space X are more sane than most Wednesday fans I hear from #ToTheMoon

He seems to want most of the money back he's paid out so far inc. buying players and wages. Mad. Bit like trying to sell your car for the purchase price and the cost of all the petrol, tax, servicing and insurance you've used running it. Heard from a Wednesday fan that Chansiri had been offered £38 million from somebody, don't know who though.

Probably from himself under the guise of one of his "totally above board" shell companies.

Probably the energy drink company which has never produced any energy drinks, but did dip its toe into the similar world of manufacturing football shirts.
