    If we'd signed a 22 year old from the lower leagues, who then put in the performances in that Victor has, we'd all be saying what a good find he was.

    He obviously has his faults, but out of the masses of forwards under 23yo we have, he's proving to be the one we should be investing more time in.

    Given that Chaplin is self isolating due to fears around Covid, it looks like
    Victor is probably going to feature for the next two or three fixtures.

    I have been impressed with the progress he's made and if that improvement
    continues, see him as a very useful member of the squad going forward.

    Thought I'd read somewhere that Chaplin was free to come out of isolation now

    He is. It was Brad Collins who he'd been in close contact with and so had to self isolate, but Brad tested negative.
