To be fair though mate how many of our players can honestly say that they turned up when we actually needed them last season?
I can't think of many and Clarke knew that he didn't have much character in the team pretty early doors.

 

Think he struggled to get them to jump thru hoops for him.
Not in the same league as Hecky or Wilder.

9 goals wasn't prolific.
Devante Cole was a loss he scored many more.
Dkd be a loss ,too.

Hope I’m proved wrong but I fear his replacement will be a downgrade, as seems to happen in recent years.
