    Terrible performance and result but we are still in a position where we can salvage our season with the right signings, let’s hope Struber and the board have seen how bad we are defensively and can bring some high quality defenders who are ready to play at this level in, also another striker is vital as sadly outside of Schmidt’s goal at Millwall he’s not proved himself to be a asset at this level. Hopefully we can beat Portsmouth get some confidence back and then get a result against Charlton which will be a massive game

    Sadly historic transfer dealings would suggest that none of the above will come to fruition.

    At least Struber admits it was very poor. Prestons team had in abundance what ours lack
    re- experience.

    Historically this board brought in Moore, McBurnie, Mills and Pinillos in the last Jan window when we was in a similar need.
    2 decent strikers and experienced defenders.

    Struber can ... the board can't.
    Different perspectives and aims. Struber is like us, football minded, the board however are money minded.

    No chance of any good transfers. There'll not be another McBurnie, that was sheer fluke
