Opens on 2nd January, but can you sign players now as long as you don’t play them until 2nd January? Or have you got to sign them in the window?

In the window for them to sign < however I do not suppose there is anything to stop clubs & players agreeing deals in advance but the deals can only be rubber stamped after the 1st .

I can think of a few players who we need to move on for their and our benefit. Miller. ..(.never gonna be up to this level). Schmidt. ...(who ?? I here you ask, Ismael doesn't rate. )Bahre...(.need I really explain why? )Thomas ( weak as water and who is one of the most indecisive player at the club and Greene who is like Siberia (everybody has heard of him but not seen owt of him). Some of these young lads are nice enough individuals but this had nowt to do with it. It's a shame but that ,as they say, is football.

We need to **** of Thomas permanently, he’s terrible and will never make a Championship footballer. I do have hopes for Schmidt, Miller and Green. I would love at least one of them to come good.

Bahre is injured, Valerian sees something in Thomas and Miller otherwise he wouldn’t play them so regularly. If Schmidt is so bad how come he scored the goal against Forest and provided the assist against Brentford, without which we would be in League One?

Thomas and Miller can run around and offer energy in the last 20 minutes. As soon as they can be replaced with a couple of players who can offer a little quality and pace they will be shipped out.

On a serious note , I think this window will be difficult for all clubs with the pandemic , I suspect a lot of players will be reluctant to move because of the lockdowns & tier restrictions etc , when they move to certain areas getting to see their families might become a problem & this is not an excuse for our club , I just think there are exceptional circumstances that could effect the transfer market in general , we will see .

Because that's all we have to choose from. Miller is no championship player and never will be Schmidt even selected before Victor and Miller. At least Victor has physicality and a shot on him but Miller does not seem to have owt. Schmidt can say cos h never plays but VI must decide upon what he sees in training that he does merit a place in the side.

Schmidt has obviously got some decent finishing ability but that's where it ends, he offers nothing else to the team. We struggle to create chances for our only championship standard striker as it is. He obviously isn't a bad player but in this team he is pointless.

Schmidt had a big chance when VI first came in, unfortunately he wasted a number of chances against QPR, then along with Simoes put in one of the sloppiest displays I’ve seen for a while.

He’s now on the bench purely to warm a seat up, and will never get on. May as well put him in the u23s for a while and promote someone. There was talk of a call up for Bramall, but that seems to have dampened down for some reason.

We have apparently agreed a fee for that forest green CB already, seem to be acting fast
