Is it on tv? I’m in the pub tonight. If it is the game should be shown as long as there is no premiership game.
Just wondering - when any of you watch The Reds on the TV do you find yourself shouting at the screen like you would as if you were there. I`m told that I now have the habit either at home or at the match itself constantly saying or shouting whenever we`re in possession " Go on lad - go on" at ever increasing volume followed by hugely inflated huffing and puffing cos we`re ****.
On Sky and there are no other Championship or Premier League games on. It's been a hectic week so I can't be arsed driving up to Barnsley tonight, I'll be in the pub....
I'm usually going "w@nk". Laura tuts. Followed by "rubbish" .Laura tuts. "Load of 5hit". Followed by Laura saying, "It's not even half-time call yourself a supporter?"
One watched with a mate who’s a Middlesbrough fan in our local. Told him he had to watch as if he was at the match: Fold arms. Sit motionless and expressionless staring at pitch. After 25 minutes say “s h i t e.” In second half sit motionless and expressionless. Slow shake of head when appropriate. Leave with 5 minutes left. Say nothing.
Telly for me, so an empty seat in the Ponty. With a planned Christmas Day with my 93yo dad including taking him to see mum in her care home, it's just too much of an unnecessary risk at this stage. Don't like missing games, but too much at stake for me.
Telly for me as well - Not driving up on a Friday night to sit in a seat I dont like in the ESL I may well have come up had it been 3pm tomorrow but not taking half a days leave under current circumstances
Last night I watched Liverpool Newcastle in Alnmouth with toon fans. Tonight the comedy show is on me ! Same pub, same ***** I imagine. I may however have the room to myself, tucked away in a corner like a cast out.
I think tonight could be a turning point. We always raise our game against better sides and against the odds. I'll be watching on the box with my shirt on and eat a Mars bar at half time for luck. CORY
