Too old/ no resale value/ attitude problem/ doesn't take a long throw/ nicked £750k Conway left lying about/ waffle.
Just cleared a certain goal off the line in 89th min to help Hearts get a point in a 0-0 Edinburgh derby.
Watched the game just to scout him. Thought he was excellent from start to finish. He made a couple of mistakes, but rectified them himself, as well as covering for his team mates. If we haven’t made a profit on him, it’s a barking decision to let him go.
Profit or not, it's a crazy decision. He would have been class in League 1 next season when Helik or Anderson or both are no longer here. Miss him already.
Maybe I wrote that wrong, I meant that if we’ve just shoved him out of the door and lost money on the deal it’s absolute madness. If we’ve sold him for a small profit it’s only slightly mad.
Ps I am so pleased @Redhelen just showed up on the thread - Helen, I've been worried! Hope all is well
Yeh I understood still mad as you say. One of many mad decisions this season. Still, I'm a tiny bit optimistic with the new signings and the fact we haven't let anyone else go of significance (special mention to Dom Frieser though, who always gave his all for the Reds, a model professional).
I'm not one for dwelling on players who have left us, but I have a horrible feeling this one could come back to bite us on the arse. He's young enough and good enough to play at a decent level again in England and I can see him playing a blinder against us in the not-too-distant...
To believe that the players who got us to 5th in the table last season are somehow not good enough this season is an absolute fallacy. We’ve made a number of clear and obvious errors behind the scenes and it’s likely to take a number of years to rectify them now. Frieser was the highlight of the first couple of games of the season for me, but I can’t blame him for wanting to be well out of it.
Yes, Frieser definitely hit the ground running this season. Another player who was messed about a bit and didn't get consistency in the team.
For a defender he wasn't too good at defending his passport from his dog https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport...s/tobby-sibbick-reveals-hearts-lucky-27326264
