Have had 4 different mangers this season not one new boss bounce and I get that's too many but no reaction . The bulk of these were good enough to finish 5th last year so it's not lack of ability, I think the main problem is there attitude they thought they'd made it proper championship player me. I get there's stuff going on behind the scenes but I am certain there many fans that work for people who they dislike but they go in and do what they are paid to do.
Appalling attitude and mentally weak, as shown by the away record and record when conceding first. To make things worse, they acted like they'd cracked it when Schopp went and they beat Derby, only to cave against Hull. Every time there's been a slight bit of expectation, they've caved. Blackpool away, Hull at home, Derby away, Reading at home, Peterboro at home... It's all a poor reflection of a squad, that should have an idea of what's required in terms of effort, commitment and fitness, from last year.
I hate to say it but they were good enough to finish fifth last year by playing a minimum of football. This year when actually asked to demonstrate an ability with the ball they've failed, especially in midfield.
This is true. We didn't replace Mowatt, but I'm not sure Mowatt would've been an ideal replacement for Mowatt given the change of playing style.
Mowatt was so good last season because he wasn't taken out of his comfort zone. It was simple balls into the corners for the wingbacks to chase down. It was also Woodrow holding it up or knock downs from Dike and Morris. We won a lot of second balls and played some nice stuff in the right areas. Mowatt's key task was getting rid. That's why we didn't keep hold of James because he was surplus to the way we were playing. It's no doubt the reason we ditched Kane too. Kane's been the massive loser this season. Had he not been disliked by Schopp from pre-season he'd have played regularly.
