    It seems we are happy to have our fans with flags saying where they're from even if that's in neighbouring towns but as soon as Sheffield wednesday fans proudly declare where they're from and consider themselves a group we get our knickers in a twist

    Barnsley owls is strange though even you with your argumentative head on can see that.

    “Any outlying district of Barnsley” reds is fine surely? As would any outlying district of Barnsley owls. But not Barnsley owls.

    Wath is in Rotherham anyway so they can fcuck off :)

    Wath and West Melton come under Rotherham but it is, if you like a ‘border area’ so no surprise there are Reds fans from there. Thurnscoe, Goldthorpe and Bolton on Dearne all have Rotherham postcodes, But most people from those places don’t consider themselves Rotherham. You’ll not find many Millers fans in those areas either, largely Barnsley and Wednesday.
