The constant promotion of supposed health and weight loss products especially at this time of year is just predictable and basically a money making marketing scheme.
I would like to say to all fellow fatties , it's 'your' life, enjoy sensible eating , get out for a walk, exercise and live, but most of all be happy.

Not necessarily in my case Helen, I would go to gym & burn off around 2500/3000 calories a day & still not lose weight & there is no way on god's green earth I was eating more than I burnt off, very frustrating.

I'd love to have a chef to make me tasty low calorie dishes. Trouble is all the unhealthy stuff just tastes nicer and I love bread. Veggie lasagne for tea ( cooked by my daughter) so I'll get some of my 5 a day in. Downside is that jam donuts were reduced at the coop!!

I've done 6700 steps so far today and had my usual dinner. Two mini Warburtons breadcakes with cheese n' chive spread. An aldi corner yoghurt, jive bar, whacko and aldi dunker with 2 cups of tea. Intend getting to 10,000 steps after tea. Then it will be 10,000 steps two days in a row.

Before Christmas I managed 22 days consecutive 10,000 steps or more but then i got a blister on my toe and chapped ball ax. It hasn't been the same since.

A sort of depression came over me that I'd missed my target.

Walking is brilliant, especially at this time of year when it's cold and dry. Keep it up, it clears your head .

I really would look to change that up. It's a really big lunch and must have a lot of sugar in it (carbs are sugars too). There's not much goodness in that at all. I'd be more inclined to put focus on what you consume than the number of steps. Obviously only make changes if you want to, not because of anything I or anyone else says.

It's your life and your choices.

Btw, tell us to shut up if you don't want advice or comments. I'm basing my replies on the fact that you do want them or at least don't mind but I'm happy to be told to **** off.

I put your lunch into MyFitnessPal and got these values. The amounts at the bottom are based on my old goal so you'd be allowed more of each value but I think you've basically had your full fat allowance for the day and eating a completely fat free evening meal would be extremely difficult. I think you're running into the same problem I had where you have spare calories but you've ran out of fat before eating the rest of your meals for the day. Exchange fat for protein and you're good to go (especially if you are exercising).
