https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=266101.30 Because you just know they would have a thread on us.
Absolutely tragic. At least with Wednesday/Leeds most of us are self aware and know they're bigger clubs. The Pikeys for some reason think we're huge rivals.

You wanna try living among them. 90% of them had never been to a rovers game before 2002 and now their purpose in life is looking out for us like we're some huge rival. I keep trying to explain no one cares about them but they seem to think I'm joking
We ort to show a bit more class than this.. sound as bad as them deedars, looking down their nose at us. If we go all.... rich billy big b0ll0cks... next season, everyone and their mother will want a piece of us...
Donny. Taking pleasure in our relegation because they've **** all going on for themselves. Not all of them though. Some have made fair comments.
Quite a while now, due to them having a relatively high population of them, particularly around the Askern area. Used to work with a lad from Askern who never stopped moaning about them ‘being all- over the place’ Anyhow,it’s a term used in football rivalry much in the same way as we are called ‘in-bred Dingles with 6 fingers’ etc. I think we should take their obsession with us a compliment, because even with our recent relegation, they would jump at the chance to be in our shoes.
Wigan and Blackburn, awful last season, have pissed it this year. Rotherham, the worst championship side probably ever, sowed up a top 6 spot weeks ago. That's how bad. And it's why I think we've a good chance of doing the same as them next season.
With the right appointment we could walk that league. Trouble is I don't trust them to make the right appointment.
They see us as their main " rivals" and unfortunately, they don't like us. I once went to a family do in Donny and I had been to Oakwell in the afternoon, so I had my Club shirt on. We had won and Donny had lost , so there was a bit of lighthearted banter with family who support Donny when I arrived. Later in the night, a couple of dullards wearing Doncaster tops came into the kitchen to get more booze and looking over at myself started making sarky comments about Barnsley and were really intimidating. They were obviously the worse for wear as they were slurring their words. A mate of mine ( big lad, big Celtic fan, former Royal Marine) had overheard the "abuse" and before I could say anything extending to his full 6 foot 5 inches said " go and stand near the wall sonny, that's plastered as well." Didn't see them after that. They must have gone home.
