The local butcher makes and sells the burgers ;-) saw a sign yesterday when I nipped to Sainsbury’s (right next to the ground) that there is a pieminster collection point!!!

The flats would make a fortune for the developer while building on metropolitan open land (which is illegal) and an area designated as important to wildlife.

Last few years developer kicked hamlets out and built fence all round it and more than doubled rent to try and get Southwark to grant permission.

The ground would have approx 4000 seats, and having a plastic pitch would mean they couldn’t currently get promoted to the football league. Crowds are approx 3000 now, a tenfold increase in a decade

Be interesting to see if council pass plans as they seem way over the top for the area (multiple 6 story blocks with no parking in an area of two storey terraces.

I think the piece was about non league football, hence us not getting a mention but I'm sure Ethsn recognises the coaching he's had at Barnsley has progressed his career.

I couldn’t really say as I never watched him play for Forest Green or in non-league.

It’s worth noting that a lot of their fans were convinced he’d make it in the championship & some even said he was good enough for the prem when we bought him
