It's depressing. I get that there are a lot on here who cant stand anything to do with the national team too.
But gone are the days where it actually used to be difficult to get an England cap. It's almost embarassing how poor the squad is now.

I've lost interest in the national squad, over the last couple of years, but Jake Livermore and Nathaniel Chalobah? Long gone are the days where we wonder how we can get players like Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard into the same side. We couldn't win anything back then, either.

Not that bad in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Kyle Walker and Dele Ali. Sturridge and Sterling on the right day are very dangerous players also. Lots of potential with Marcus Rashford, and don't forget how well England's younger teams have been doing.

What? Have we announced a squad? Like many others I just don't care anymore. I liken to look out for Northern Ireland more than England. I have Northern Irish blood so I have a soft spot for them. Much more entertaining following them than England... their expectations are so low, so to see them doing well in qualifiers and reaching the finals is great.

I've always been a "club over country" fan.

Of course I want the England team to do well, but all the players belong to other clubs so it's all a bit distant.
