    McCarthy was awful tonight
Styles was as bad but we aint got another LWB only Odour who was worse than Styles IMO
Tedic did well when he came on, should have done better with his header

Thought Cole had a decent game tbf, doesn’t deserve to be dropped. Although Tedic looked ok I’d be surprised if he started.
Agree about McCarthy, he was awful tonight. Clumsy, needless challenge for the pen and what on earth was he doing to get dispossessed so easily for the third?

Our recruitment this season is the worst in our history. We have never before brought in 5 non league players. Yes, McCarthy is awful. Utterly dreadful. But so is Cundy. Norwood is a laughing stock. Connell cannot play professional football which is why he was at Queens Park. A semi professional team. It's bizarre, who chose these players?

Forgot to mention Styles. The sooner he leaves the better. Some tidy moments but also some half arsed challenges leading up to the first and third goals. He clearly doesn’t want to be here.
As for the pen, why on earth was he taking it? Never looked confident and judging by Duff’s furious reaction when he missed, should he even have been taking it?

Fair enough then. My choice would’ve been Benson. Striking the ball really well this season and brimful of confidence.
Styles doesn’t even want to play for us so why he’d be the pen taker is beyond me….

    ..............Collins or Walton
    ......Williams Anderson Kitching
    McCarthy Thomas Benson Connell Styles
    ...................Cole Tedic

Williams is a better defender than McCarthy so why not try McCarthy at wing-back? (this might be complete hogwash as I've not seen him play wing-back, but it seems there's nobody else can play there). From the extended highlights, it appears that Cole had a decent game and could (should) have scored before Leeds did so I'll give him another go. Also Tedic impressed those that were there so I'll do with him.

Curious, who did we sign from non league ? I cannot remember any & just shows how opinions differ as I think Connel is a very good prospect , its all about opinions .

Behave. You insisted a few years ago "Teams don't win promotion when they sign centre halves from Brentford reserves and non league clubs. They just don't". That was Alfie Mawson & Marc Roberts, the Summer before we won promotion.
    I still love you! :D:D
