I used Blueline yesterday. Pre-booked it last Saturday and it turned up bang on time.

Both big firms are awful. A taxi turning up on time is a Christmas miracle... it’s all down to job allocation rather than the actual driver ability.

Blue line allocate jobs in batches of ten and have to be completed in that order. So if job one is town to gawber, job two is cudworth to wombwell and job three being wilthorpe to town, rather than do job three on the way back to town then up to job two saving time the driver has to go one two three, if that makes sense.

City allocate it from what I understand to the next available driver so unless you deal in specifics and ask for a local driver you could end up with Sheffield or Rotherham’s finest.

And then with this, there’s a potential issue over insurance given the different plates ....
