When Johnson and Reese-Mogg talk about ‘taking back control’ do they mean the thing you voted for when you voted for Brexit, or do they mean the aristocracy taking back control?
They mean, they’ll do what’s best for themselves and the upper classes in general. They will get away with this by hoodwinking/ lying to a sizeable portion of the masses via their friends/ ilk that control the media. Then when realisation finally sets in, it will be too late. The right- wing and Trumpesque disciples will be in ecstasy.
Remember taking back control was a phrase coined by Dominic Cummins to appeal to the less clever. Make them think they’ve been given control whilst simultaneously taking away even more of their rights.
Worked like a charm on a lot of the country's population, including a sizeable percentage of Barnsley folk. Depressing.
They mean handing it over to America. Okay, an exaggeration, I know but we will be subject to agreed standards and arbitration procedures that will be no better, and probably worse than anything we have agreed over the years with the EU, of which we were a member with an equal voice.
Any government who runs a manifesto on exercising control in reducing crime, homelessness, improving health, whilst encouraging and supporting people to succeed as individuals in life or business will have a good chance of winning a general election in my opinion. Neither of the major parties seem to be able to succeed with the control they already have, much if which many people blame the EU for.
Agree , despite what we have been fed by the Brexiteers for 40 years , in the EU we are a big fish , outside we’re going to get swallowed by sharks , US China and the Russians
