    The "Amber and Chocolates" play in Sutton, South London. Head to Croydon and turn right and you won't be too far off (or South at Wimbledon). You could combine an evening match there with a day out at Chessington World of Adventure.

    Sutton Utd play at Gander Green Lane in South London, it's a funny little ground, tucked away in a housing estate. They beat Hartlepool Utd yesterday to secure the National League Championship. By chance, I was at the Sutton United vs Hartlepool Utd game last season on Saturday, 14 March, 2020. My daughters (one lives in Epsom, the other in Ewell) had invited me, my brother and my sister's fiancé down for the Reds v. QPR game at Loftus Road, but all the league fixtures were cancelled so we went to watch Sutton Utd vs. Hartlepool Utd instead. Gate was close to 2,000 but the Monkey Hangers following was around a quarter of this, really impressive for a non-league team playing 300 miles away from home. Curiously enough, queuing for the gents at half time (the players changing rooms are in the club house under the stand, also where the toilets are so they're cordoned off while the players come off the pitch), got chatting to a Preston NE fan who was at the game for the reason, as Preston's game at Luton had also been cancelled (Sutton's a bit far from Luton though:rolleyes: )......

    Used to visit uni friend in Sutton - drive down M1 and park at Brents Cross Shopping Centre - Underground (Northern Line) to Morden and then bus for 3/4 miles to Sutton.

    o/t below Sutton in their league table 6 teams are in with a shout of getting promotion - who exactly is playing who?
