Last season's Stendal begged for experience and got none Struber is wanting more physicality let's hope this time the recruitment team and board listen to the manager and give him what he wants and needs.

We have two games in the next week against teams that will play a similar style as Luton did. Chances are we wont have the players Struber is after by Tuesday, so he needs to find a way with the players we do have.

Not sure 3-4-3 will really work against the more direct teams, I'd have Thomas at LWB, with Styles, Mowatt and Palmer in the middle and Ludewig on the right.

I’d be tempted to start the new lad at the back and free up Williams to move to right wing back. ( anyone but Ritz ). Also strengthen up the middle with Halme

Should it not have been sorted before now tho? It's not like this issue has just crept up on us. I get that the transfer window doesn't shut till October but it was the same for the whole of last season. Same goes for the left wing back position, no sympathy or confidence in a manager that thinks ritzmaier is a capable replacement.

To be fair Struber has had more of his own way in transfers than anybody since Keith Hill

Two away games next week. There'll be more gaps to exploit going forward. Should get a positive result in at least one game if not both

This is what I don't get, what did the post lockdown hammering at Stoke tell us... That we needed some physicality adding to the side and here we are now acting like it's something new!!! Any other team's coaches/ scouts etc watching our game back today will know exactly how to set up against us. Frustrated and worried, yes it's only one game in but it's like we haven't learned anything from last season.

Tbh I was willing to give Ritzmare the benefit of the doubt going into the new season but bloody hell that was another awful showing from him yesterday. I know it's the first game of the new season but I'm just not sure he's up to it at this level.

I’m not sure he’s actually a footballer, he’s been stretching that as his job description in the same way Dave Regis did. :) How he gets on the teamsheet is beyond me. Could he be Strubers love child ??

Not rated quagmire for a while but he seems to think he's Beckham.
