    whoever is in charge of recruitment should get a job in the city or in New York because they are epic at buying cheap and selling high.

    It’s just no good if you are a football club trying to make your product any better.

    5m inc in revenue plus season tickets

    We have now sold £9m players

    There’s no way we have reinvested close to that even taking wages into account

    They could spend £9bn on it and it wouldn't matter to me. I'm one of those sad old goats who just turn up to watch a football match, then wander off home.
