I went this year, I thought it was alright tbh. Didn’t see any trouble despite it being really busy at night. Saw some great tribute acts Cracking day out for £20 to waterfalls and stunning mountain village. Lovely walks from Benidorm to secluded bay with excellent snorkling/ up to the cross on the hill. Old town is quite nice. I don’t even drink and I managed to have a good time, maybe that’s why!? Had energy to do other stuff instead. oh yeah saw sticky vickys daughter - it’s just a bit of a naff magic show, and I'm sure she just does the stuff her mum did.
It’s a great place for a holiday but often gets a bad press. Always plenty to do and something for everyone and you can easily avoid the so called lager louts if you want to.
Similar experience, but need to add…. The only place I’ve seen tandem mobility scooters. They must have Tesla motors in them!
