Well... lets get sarky! Mexican stand office believe? More senior players in the squad to step forward imo... that's my take
I have confidence he would have done. He came in to the tournament on a high from winning another PL title and then during the Euros was easily our best player. How many he has previously missed wouldn't have mattered in that moment.
Which is again what I said ... although don't agree with Sterling who can't take a penalty to save his life
And I think.he still should have stepped up to the mark rather than Sako.. I suppose that's the end of the conversation... I'll give you the last word cos you're very reminiscent of my Ex
Takes big un's to take a penalty in a shootout in a final they need to be as big as watermelons. Can never blame any player for not wanting one in the top 5.
Total conjecture tbf. The fact that he didn't step up for one tells me he didn't fancy it. 1000% behind those lads who stepped up.
I disagree.... when I was a kid playing footy, a penalty was exactly that... an advantage! That was the rule of the game as an aspiring footballer in the late seventies maybe? This day and age; why has it become so difficult to take a penalty?
Not being funny here.... but even if the goalie can jiggle about , it's still pretty much in the penalty takers ' approach
No one gives a **** how you view anything. Saka was the best in training hence doing it in the game. You calling out other players makes you look like the **** that you are
My opinion... if you wish to grasp on to 2/3 peoples opinions and nothing in return for me that's fine ... Good on you!! I'm only approaching certain grievances cos I have the time to do it. I'm going in 5/10 mins! Is this a forum?
Every sports psychologist and elite athlete would probably disagree. But hey, you're sat watching it on telly, so what do they know?
Of course you should score more often than not but it’s much more of a contest now. Which is a good thing in my opinion.
