Stern, Wolff and the other fellas we've been linked with. Well it doesn't matter which one of them is in charge because we'd struggle. Forget tactics, formations, style, team selections etc the pre requisite for any football team is that you do the basics well and get a solid base / platform to build from there. Unfortunately we are pretty damn poor at both ends of the pitch. We constantly make silly mistakes at the back for which we are punished pretty much every single time and miss good chances at the top end of the pitch. I ain't going to have a go at the players because they have been put in a very difficult position. These young lads need some experience and leadership to help nurture them and bring them along. Until the mistakes stop we are going to struggle to pick up a consistent points hall. I will give my support to the playes, some will be good enough over time, others not so but I hope the majority do stick with them and don't see them as the easy targets to abuse when they should be looking at the board.
we want experience but the idiots upstairs will not listen and there are still plenty of free agents out there
The players cannot be criticised in any way. They are busting a gut. Sadly they have been let down by the administration who have failed to give them the support they deserve by having appropriate experienced professionals for them to learn alongside.
Yep, the players deserve our support as long as they put the effort in which we can’t fault so far. They’re just miles off the pace though, the basics just aren’t there. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bad players but it’s abundantly clear that, as a group, they’re lacking some much needed support. It almost feels cruel sending them out every week just to get beat. Can easily see us ending up with 20 points this season, especially if Woodrow goes in January
