We can still do it, but there are lessons to be learned from our current challenge. Squad too small from the beginning. Need two players for each position. We finish with a smaller, weaker squad than we started. Not just January, but right from the beginning. We should now be able to make wholesale changes to rest some tired players, but we can’t. A fantastic season so far and I’m hoping for a grandstand finish.
We looked a tired side yesterday but we don’t have options of the required quality to come in. Our style of football over a full season takes its toll.
