Delighted to get the win but acknowledged that Coventry played very well. Says we have a lot of improving to do in many areas! Can't argue with that!
Created next to nothing today. Great to get the points but quite a poor performance attacking wise from us.

Exactly this. Managing to win when you're a bit of a shambles bodes much better than being at your absolute best and losing 1-0.
hmmm…. Don’t really agree with this. Possibly if we start doing that consistently (sometimes happens) but I am very unconvinced after the first three displays. It’s still early days, which I appreciate but vast improvements are required.
Thought we opened up well and could and should’ve scored before they hit the bar. The constant fouling by them, particularly on Palmer in first half, disrupted us. Which is disappointing, we need to be able to overcome such tactics. Coventry came more into it as the first half wore on no doubt helped by the fact that the ref was so lenient on them with the lack of yellow cards. They certainly were in control for much of the second half, however, they didn’t create anymore noteworthy opportunities than we did. I fail to see how we ‘nicked’ 3 points today as has been posted. We dug deep at the end and held on, that’s not nicking points that’s fighting till the end.
