Can we play as if our lives depend on it? I expected to go to Forest and see a team and individuals play with this kind of commitment even if we ultimately weren’t good enough. Surely this is the minimum we can demand from professional footballers.
We can demand or expect it but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to be given. We'll see - a lack of ability I will forgive, a lack of effort and commitment I won't.
