Settled for 1 million quid so I have been told. What a joke.

Still an expensive **** up. Seeing as he was on £3m a year for a few years if only gravy blood could have kept his snivelling greedy little trotters clean.

The thing is a million quid in those circles is chicken feed, more than worth it to end any negative attention, meanwhile in the real world, Sharon from admin earns 15 grand a year, summat goes off and she's sacked for misconduct, the union help her go to a tribunal and six months later she gets 4 grand.

We'll likely never know exactly what he was paid.

As I've mentioned in another thread the journo on Talksport this morning said he'd forfeited his payoff by resigning. Was part of a story saying he'd done the decent thing (which was laughable considering).

I heard that on Talksport too. I wonder if his notice period was four months? If he resigned 'by mutual agreement' as reported and was paid his notice, that would amount to £1M? His contract was for two years at £3M p.a., so a 'payoff' would have presumably amounted to much more than 1M.

It was 1m been told this by someone pretty reliable. There is no exact science to a calculation - it's just what is agreed.
