Anyone who used to travel with the legion back in the day Kev died yesterday. Anyone who listens to football heaven will know him as the regular Thursday caller Kevin Rip Kev
Gutted first Conny now Kev the cat. Fantastic guy who will be much missed a true red always a pleasure to be with happy to share a laugh even at his own expense.
I know it is often over done but Kev deserves a tribute from the fans. For those of you who don't know him he has followed the reds for many years and was one of the chief organisers for the Royston legion in the 80s when interest dropped he would drive the mini bus. Spent many fun days with him but feel I will be missing out on many more.
RIP kev a fellow Red . Didn't know him personaly but felt as though I did listening to him all these years on dee dar. Will miss him. Should do a combined tribute Saturday for imo with him and the young lad at aquaforce ,maybe with something accompanying on the score board.
Used to go with the Legion to away games in the 80's. Particularly remember Cambridge away in the cup when we stopped off at Newark on the way back, and the Southampton match away in the cup. Top lad Kev, RIP
RIP Kev. I didn't go with the Legion much but it was always a good laugh when I did. Had a cracking sesh at Yarm once on the way to Middlesbrough and I'll never forget getting chased back to the minibus at Palace. It had been moved at police insistence and none of us knew where, but the Palace yobs seemed to.
R.I.P Kev i used to travel with the Royston legion as i originate from Royston, he will be sadly missed and i'm pretty sure i saw him at Preston last week.
RIP Kevin ,nice unassuming bloke. You always had an answer for Brian the Blade. That used to tickle me.God Bless.
