Just depressing, club will suffer next season because they won't be getting anything near ticket sales this time around. People can only take so much. I've been going since 1972. Not anymore in Mickey mouse league
It would have to take something huge to get a large number of season ticket sales next year. Only thing I could think would be an Alan Clarke style managerial appointment.
I think people will go regardless as it is a habit of sorts. That's what angers me though, I feel like people are having the piss taken out of them. Barnsley isn't an affluent town and they deserve better.
Yes that's true, we did brilliantly last season I was full of optimism and hope for this season, thinking it will be different this time, with backing from the board ! How wrong was I ?
We blew a golden opportunity to build on a record breaking season last year and what concerns me the most is that these owners have learned nothing from our last relegation 2 seasons ago.
Whether we stay up (miracle) or go down, I’ll still attend some games. But whichever we do I won’t be renewing the ST. It’s a minor act but it’s one of the few I have to show my unhappiness with the Owners and their decisions.
That's right!! In theory I like the supposed plan, but it's got to be flexible in that everybody including coaching staff could see as well as talented young players we obviously needed a experienced spine to the team. But hey ho. Owners didn't think so
We travel down for the games and the social aspect of seeing my mates as we all sit together. I haven’t seen them for months now. Ive even had one of their season tickets from last year. It’s not a case of not renewing next season they have thrown the towel in ages ago. I see no point in continuing as it is, I’ll see the season out then that’s it.
