    Obviously their second division. Equivalent to Championship quality, or a bit better or worse?

    The attendances are amazing though, Cologne and Hamburg have average attendances over 40k, and many more are in the 20ks and 30ks.

    It's a good league, very physical and high tempo. No mugs in that division, some big names in German football have gone down from the Bundersliga and struggled to get back. Kaiserslauten and 1860 both in 3rd division now.

    Wow didn't realise Kaiserslautern were in the third tier! They were playing champions league not that long ago! Similar fate to likes of Leeds when they dropped down two tiers
